Built to Last

The furnishings that go into a home are essential in supporting the lives of the people who live there. We want to tell you about some foundational pieces that played a key part in a home design project in Holladay, Utah so much that they made the cut when our clients came back for a remodel eight years later!

When we first helped this active, travel-loving family of five furnish their home, we included durable yet stylish custom upholstery and rugs that would look good for entertaining and also withstand wear and tear from three young children.

Eight years later with more work and travel, bigger children (football players--and their friends) and lots of entertaining, they approached us for a whole house refresh. Imagine their delight (and ours) when they realized they still loved and wanted to use their original furnishings and in some cases could get the feel of a whole new piece with an easy fabric swap.

We love the look of their refreshed sofas and chairs mixed in with a few new pieces and updated tile, wood and stone as a soothing background for their colorful lifestyle.
