The plans for this timeless family home for a family of eight started with a lovely property in a modern neighborhood. With plenty of space for (six!) kids to run free, it was designed to capture the historical, pastoral spirit of the owner’s childhood home in the English countryside. While the house design itself isn’t traditionally English, the details such as classic moldings, brass fixtures and cabinetry are sure to stand the test of time. This home is the epitome of livable luxury; durable kid-friendly furnishings, easy-to-care-for fabrics and total comfort with just the right amount of posh appeal.
